Need Help With Finding Labor for Business Venture - Aplus - 10-29-2020 Need Help With Finding Labor for Business Venture Hey all, I noticed there's a huge need for a competitor in my area in the chimney sweep business. I live in a small city (100k+ metro area) and there's 2 companies. One company gets great reviews (4.9 on Google with 300 reviews). The other, not so much. When I called to get my chimney cleaned from either, they both mentioned they were booked out 4-6 weeks. Great! There's a market need. Each clean runs $200-$225 with inspection. I'm in tech and haven't worked in a service industry before. I know insurance and equipment will be key. However, even more so would be labor. You don't need to be certified to do chimney sweeping in my state, but I'm curious how to go about finding labor for such a venture. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |
