FINALLY!! I finished developing my first PWA as an Entrepreneur - AmandaRob - 11-25-2020 FINALLY!! I finished developing my first PWA as an Entrepreneur Hey everyone. As an entrepreneur, I wanted to share a hurdle I have overcome... In the beginning stages of my company, Shrpn, my niche was education. With a target demographic of ages 18 to 35. Recently, 2.5 months ago, I decided to rebrand my company, Shrpn. Rebranding by turning my website into a PWA (Progressive Web App). A PWA does not require you to download from the app store, and typically does not share the user's data. Therefore, it does not take up space on your device and it functions just like any other app. Now, my target audience is Freelancers. My PWA allows freelancers to record their business expenses and income. Along with it - those expenses and income are automatically transferred and calculated onto a Schedule C 1040 Form. And unlike most apps, my PWA does not require access to your GPS and Camera. Nor does it require you to link your bank account information. It's been a long, time-consuming journey. However, it feels good to finally reach the finish line of app development as an Entrepreneur. [link] [comments] |
