Question for buisness owners - AmandaRob - 11-26-2020 Question for buisness owners Running through late night thoughts. I want to know why some companies require a college degree. If you are a buisness owner why do you require kids to have a 4 year degree to apply for your job? In my mind I look at it like this: Say the average kid goes to college and racks up around 80,000 in debt across the 4 years. During these 4 years they don’t exactly learn everything needed to know to come in and make a huge impact at your buisness. So, they are already needing a higher paying job due to the fact they are in debt and also not making a huge impact immediately. So, instead of hiring kids out of college you hire them straight out of high school. You can pay them dirt cheap and also teach them the ins and outs of your buisness. These kids would be much cheaper and more efficient than someone who graduates college. I want to know the advantage a buisness owner gets from hiring solely college graudates. [link] [comments] |
