Give a Discount or Markup over cost?
I have a certain clientele that gets a trade discount of about 20%. I was wondering if there was an advantage of instead of offering a discount, I have a fixed % markup over my cost?
I know the math can be the same, but in aggregate and over-time is there an advantage one way or another?
Anyone have a preference?
