My friend and I are creating a dropshipping company and we are using Shopify to host the site. We both reside in Virginia. What permits are required for us to operate this business? I read online that I possibly don't need a business license whatsoever, but other websites saying I do. From what I gathered, I need a reseller's permit at least. Are there any other permits or licenses required? And is it possible to obtain these permits through the internet?
