Has anyone thought about starting a small-scale snail farm? There is no need to purchase/lease a large land, due to its low carbon footprint it's also a more environmentally friendly farming venture. Snails are apparently very nutritious, full of protein and low in fat.

I'm trying to think of all the possible cons for such venture, maybe restrictive laws in some countries when it comes to farm setup and shipping.
