Hoping into the decentralized space - AmandaRob - 04-19-2021 Hoping into the decentralized space Sry for mobile. New to the sub, seasoned entrepreneur with wins and losses. I’ll start by mentioning I own and operate a film funding / video production company. Im a salesman at heart that struggles with marketing. After the pandemic and some proposed SEC changes in 2020 I started looking for creative ways to rebound this year. Enter the NFT craze. I’m no stranger to blockchain or crypto currency’s so it wasn’t far fetched to focus some R&D in that direction. To me I saw the values of NFTs as digital prop over just digital art so we started to run with the idea of a decentralized film funding platform that allows for a hybrid crowdfunding / direct placement funding option for creatives to build fan bases and viewership during he funding stage. It also allows consumers to curate the films they want to see on a streaming service while participating in rev share. There’s a lot more I could discuss regarding the platform but the point of this post is that I’m looking to do this completely decentralized and I see a huge opportunity to correct some of the questionable practices of the financial industry but I don’t have a clue about how to bring in the right people to assist in the go to market strategy for this. Considering we’re minting cryptos theres room for compensation on the back end (same position I’m taking) but idk if this is attractive enough to get the support needed. Any questions, feedback or comments welcome. [link] [comments] |
