I want to start a small cafe selling savouries and sweets only (Advice?)

Hello,

First off, rent is not an issue. A friend of mine has a small space he gave me as a favor and i could potentially open a cafe there. I only need to pay water and electricity bills.

Foot traffic is good, there are three schools in the area as well as it being located near a small shopping centre (shopping centre has coffee shops ofc).

The issue i guess is finding the beans and sourcing good foods. The space isnt big enough for a kitchen so i was thinking of catering sweets such as cakes, croissants and macarons and slices in a display to do a "coffee and ___" type of thing.

For those who have run or opened a cafe, what are somethings i need to consider?

Permits, interior decorations, finding a coffee supplier for the beans and a coffee machine and size?

let me know what your advice is below,

thank you!
