How would I connect quality overseas developers to startup/small business owner (to - AmandaRob - 07-26-2021 How would I connect quality overseas developers to startup/small business owner (to For the past 2 years I've been noticing 2 phenomenon in the tech world: 1) Companies/businesses in North America/Europe are constantly looking for qualified developers but either it's hard to find good ones or they can't afford them. 2) Very qualified/senior developers in other countries who can do the jobs perfectly for a lower cost (lower than what you'd pay for a local senior developer). So there's a huge need of talents and a huge talent pool that don't ever seem to intersect. So question is, as a person who is from both Asia and Canada (dual citizenship), what can I can do to bridge that gap? Given that I have trusted connections with a lot of qualified developers here in Asia. Can I be a legal bridge between the 2 parties in case they run into work authorization issues? Or can I be the point of contact in case the developer doesn't speak English? Any ideas would help. Thanks [link] [comments] |
