How to classify UpWork.com for accounting and taxes?
We're a US based small business hiring a US person to type content in Microsoft Word. How should we classify the payment to Upwork? We don't get a 1099 from the freelancer and I guess we don't get a W-9 from Upwork. Anyone had to deal with this?
