Automotive repair shop help

Hello all! I’ve been lurking today and love all the helpful people. The life stories are truly fascinating as well. But as for what this post is all about, help. I’m currently working for my dad. As an automotive technician. I’ve been doing it for about 8 years now, in which I started with 0 experience working under him. A year or so later he bought the business. Fast forward to now, we’ve moved locations. We are in a rural area about 10 minutes from a decent sized city, 300k plus population. Multiple housing additions are being built as well on our road, and directly across the road even. But, for the help, we can’t get past just making it. Four of us total. Anybody have an automotive shop? Any pointers? It’s roughly 7 years into the business. Covid hit us hard with about 3 months of minimal business. Currently being bombarded with poorly manufactured parts, terrible availability and our parts companies are half assing their delivery times, proper parts dropped off, delivering used/broken parts, etc. Not to mention we’re getting more and more customers that nothing will please them which equals bad publicity. Thanks for any advice!
