I asked a Polish company a couple months ago how much it would take to import their product and get sole distribution rights. We'd build a social media & grassroots marketing plan to sell the product in existing markets, competing against known brands of similar products already here. Cashflow & initial investment, for all intents & purposes, isn't problem. I essentially was just dismissed, saying they get that offer all the time. What gives? Do some foreign manufacturers really have people offering them large amounts of cash to buy-in to their product?
