I will preface this by telling you all that I am in fact a Software Engineer and I plan to....plan..., design and develop this app myself.

My query is more so on the business aspect of things and basically I'm not sure what my end goal is. It is a great app idea, original, has a broad target audience and has potential to only be better in terms of functionality.

I have bought the domain for the name but in terms of ownership, copyright etc I am an absolute noob. Of course once I develop it and launch it, the question is if I can market it well enough to get it booming. But would there be agencies, businesses I could pitch it to that could invest or even buy it? Or am I dreaming in that sense.

I understand it is a broad question and I'm sorry, but I would like to learn the ins and outs of the non technical side.
