I've been playing around with the idea of going into business as a plant nursery startup. I've been calculating budgets and overhead. Though I DO know that many plants are patented to protect their inventors. The thing is how do i find an easy to navigate database so I can be sure I don't propagate and sell patented plants.

Does anyone have any recommendations aside from hiring a lawyer right out of the gate? I'm having trouble finding patent information even through Google.
