Salesperson hiring question - AmandaRob - 06-22-2022 Salesperson hiring question I'm wondering if it is possible and/or advisable to find a salesperson for a small B2G/ B2B company that would work on commission only? I have worked with someone I know in our industry who I've been giving 10% of sales and they've made a few hundred thousand dollars over a few years time (pre covid), but they've recently become very ill. They had contacts and experience in our industry. I'm trying to rebuild our contracts after covid and I don't have the capital to guarantee a base pay and I would need to be someone with experience and contacts in my industry, I presume (or maybe not?). Is this a completely normal thing, or does it seem unethical? This is my first look into finding a salesperson and I'm realizing how much I don't know about the norms for career salespeople.
