We've been working on an early-stage B2B advertising SaaS that so far is getting great feedback. One way to potentially monetize it that we were considering was to resell to partners, vendors, etc. via white labeling.

Meanwhile, none of us have experience or knowledge about what typical terms & the business model is for white labeling, but a couple of clients have requested white-labeling and we want to be more informed in case the conversation comes up again.

For those who've gone down this road, what are some typical commission or revenue splits? Are there any terms or other angles that are unique to white labeling that may warrant the attention of the uninitiated?

Also, since nobody on our team has developed white-labeled software before, are there coding libraries or frameworks that can be plugged into our existing codebase to enable white-labeling? Or would we essentially need to manually code for white-labeling scenarios?
