How to Price Partnership Integration? - Albert - 10-30-2022 How to Price Partnership Integration? Hi all, My apologies if this has been discussed before, I did a quick search on Reddit and Google but couldn’t locate related topics, maybe I was searching the wrong keyword. So I figured I should post it here to get some advice. I have been working on a data-addon Chrome Extension that is subscription based and supports certain websites (top players in the Real estate domain, think Zillow, Redfin etc). I’ve been approached by another website that I don’t currently support and they wanted me to add support for their site. The new website is relatively small and if I integrate that means there will be an additional workload to maintain the functionality on their site while most of my users will probably not use their site. I have been thinking if I should charge some sort of partnership fee so that could compensate for my time in maintaining that integration. And they’ve asked if there’s any cost associated with the integration. In addition, there’s also the part that I need to call out their website in my Chrome Web Store listing (to comply with Google’s rule) which should also help their traffic. So I am not sure how much I should ask, wondering if there’s any guidance or industry standard or suggestions around this topic. Thank you so much! [link] [comments] |
