I own a small woodframe commercial building in the 'downtown' area of a small town. I currently use it as an art studio space.

I'm no good at business dealings myself, but I was thinking it might be a good idea to partner up with someone who does have a good business idea. A business partnership in which I contribute the space (about 1500 sq ', they contribute the business acumen, and both get paid.

Obviously lawyers and contracts are necessary. Is this type of symbiosis the sort of dynamic that happens a lot, or is this just a dumb idea?
