Question regarding employee pay

I own a dance studio, and this year we are leaving a 15 minute break between classes in order for the rooms to be cleaned by the teacher. I pay my teachers $40/class that they teach, and I'm wondering if I am required to pay them to clean in between classes? This cleaning would involved spraying surfaces. If I do have to pay them, I can pay them a seperate hourly rate for cleaning, correct?
