Hello all,
I think I need a business / entrepreneur mentor to help me with all the business ideas I have and am passionate about, and can even link together for most of them.
The area of my ideas spans from web development, ecommerce/retail, mental health awareness, custom board games and pin badges - to be as general as possible.
I have experience in running my own shop in my spare time (rented shelf space in a store in local town centre) and created my own ecommerce site for it, for a number of years. For one reason and another it went by the wayside and I was never able to put my all in to it to really get it off the ground as a viable self employed business.
This is still something I am passionate about, but have now grown the original concept of it, but feel I really need proper guidance and help in figuring out the viability of all my ideas, how to really research them and see if they will work, how to create prototypes, which area to concentrate on more etc.
Someone who can help me put it all in a sensible order and help me with each step to not feel so overwhelmed with what I have to do.
Firstly - I guess a business mentor is what I need, but how do I find the _right_ one? The one who understands my ideas (they are of the geeky / nerdy / alternative range along with the mental health side of things) and is excited by them too. Someone I know who will know the right things to look for rather than is learning about my products by what I'm telling them and means nothing to them?
Secondly - I live in UK, Would a business mentor be called something different over here? Do they go by other titles? I'm not even entirely sure what I'm googling so any pointers for that would be great
