Info on selling equity in company

I’m looking into starting a business that will need a decent amount of start up funds. So I’m going to need investors. I understand the concept of selling a percent stake in the company for so much seed money, but I’m hoping to read up more about the intricacies about it, e.g. what kind of payments they should receive monthly, quarterly, or yearly, buying them out, how much control they may or may not have, if they can fire me if over 50% votes for that, etc.
