I'm 23 and I live in a small village in Romania. We just elected a new mayor; he's just a few years older than me and already contributed in a few months more than the previous one in 20+ years
I want to develop a business as well as my community. I want to be able to see change and also have a decent income (for this area 1000$+ a month is a luxury).
Growing up I thought of having my fast food but in the meantime 3 of those opened up already so that market feels taken. The nearby town which we consider ''the city'' has around 13k habitants and has 4 gyms while we have none and everyone from the villages around goes there to work out, including me for the past 6-7 years.
Even at a similar membership price to the city I think this would be successful here because people would save so much on gas and also there are many people who don't have personal cars and considering there are no buses taking people to town many of them choose not to go at all because of that. Having a gym in their town would certainly give some the necessary push to work out and also build a user base of this gym.
I'm really passionate about body building, eating healthy, even cooking and overall a healthy lifestyle. This is why I think this would be a great way of feeding my passion and also having an income.
I have just around 1000$ saved up but could get around 6-8k more. I'm curios how to go about accessing European funding for this or anything else. All I know is that the EU offers funds for people starting businesses that create jobs, and this one would create around 10-14 of those.
