Hey everyone! So I've been wanting to have my own art business for a few months now, but I'm really overwhelmed when I think about it. I'm pretty good at art, the only thing is that I don't know where I'm going with it: if I want a brand, if so then what kind, etc. There's honestly no right way to go by it and I've heard that from everyone time and time again, but I would really like to have a starting point, just so that I can get started. I don't know what to do first, whether I should open up my social media and start posting there, or whether I should first make prints of my artwork to sell it, whether I should open my website, etc. I'm really confused on where to start and what's the proper way to go by this so that I can make profit off of it. Another important thing, I struggle big time with self belief, or the fact that I can pull off something like this. I've never believed in myself enough to have something on my name, or be someone, and this is my way of becoming something. So any tips for self confidence when it comes to setting up your own business?
Another thing is, I will be applying for my masters in phhsiotherapy soon, and I will soon have to attend uni+work, and manage my art business at the same time. I know that juggling these two things are usually non-advisable, and most of my family members/friends have told me to pick just one thing, but I need a stable job too before I become independent with art and start making money off of it. So is there any advice for juggling these two things at once successfully?
Thanks for taking your time.
