Question about Virtual business numbers (canada)

So I am starting a side gig and and it seems a necessity to get a separate business line so i can respond appropriately to business calls. While also being able to respond to personal calls to my own number.
I signed up for a trial of Grasshopper and got a local number but when you call it it says "the number you are calling is an international number please call again with 1 before the number. International charges may apply"
Obviously this is a poor option, as most customers will think it is suspicious, or just be too lazy to redial the number with a 1 in front.
Can anyone recommend any virtual business numbers services that aren't a hassle for customers?
