Do you guys interview your users?

Hi all,

I am currently researching the topic around user interviews and I was wondering do you guys conduct 1:1 interviews with your users to understand their pains, problems etc? If yes, what benefits do you see? If no, why not?

I see more and more companies using feedback boards, but can't understand if they ONLY use that or use in combination with more in-depth user conversations.

Interviews is something my co-founder and I struggled with in our past company, and we only started talking to our customers face-to-face when it was too late. Well, lessons learned, for next time.

What's your view?
