What’s the best book on measuring market feedback in the early days of a product?

If no book exists please let me know if there are other sources of knowledge on this (videos, blogs etc).

Essentially learning when to determine: should I build this based on mvt/mvp response or not - sometimes it’s not clear.

I believe it’s an art rather than science, but I still want to know how we can learn from other’s experience in this area. Thanks!
