Hi reddit!
I am in the early stages of building out my first e-commerce business. I want to create an impact-focused business that creates beautiful products for your home and removes plastic from the ocean/environment.
My product involves injection molding, which some of you may know can have high startup costs. My strategy is to make a rendering and run some a/b testing via google/facebook ads that direct people to my website to see if the product is viable.
This will derisk the initial investment of tooling. (tooling refers to the mold used for injection mold plastic) Around $10,000 give or take. which doesn't include MOQ or inventory costs.
Any feedback or advice is welcome!
