I’m on job search and got few founders connected for part time advising/consulting for product pitches, validation with prospects, and finding potential customers.
If it’s a couple of meetings, I’m doing free wo expectations as it’s good product management exercise for me.
However if they want 5 to 10 hours a week, how would I put a value on the pre seed or seed equity they are offering? Some are giving like 5k/10k per month at zero value ( tax purposes ) but they they are sharing what they value them at or how they came up with that number.
I tell them if the had fusing I would charge 150 to 200 $/hr.
While I’m not doing this for income, I don’t want to be it to be completely for nothing!
Any guidance?
