I have a company that does programmer hiring for entrepreneurs and small business owners, and I wanted to ask if people are still using Facebook ads. I'm considering not using them anymore. Here's my thinking:
I'm seeing a lot less activity from people in my personal network when I log into Facebook, to the point where I'm wondering if entrepreneurs really spend that much time on it anymore.
Facebook's got a lot of troll/conspiracy theory stuff now. If you post an ad, for all you know it could appear next to someone saying that Biden is actually a robot controlled by an army of intelligent squirrels. That doesn't make your business look good, especially if you cater to professionals.
Success rate. I can't remember the last time I clicked on a Facebook ad. There's so much junk in my feed that I just ignore it.
So has anyone switched successfully away from Facebook ads? If so, what to?
