I've been pondering on a business idea and wanted some input on of you see it as a viable solution. I'll have a TLDR at the bottom.
Some background: I worked as a marketing freelancer for 4 years and am wrapping up my Master's in Data Science. I currently work as a marketing analyst at a mid-sized company and have found a potential need for a company that can provide Data Science services specifically for marketing departments and the problems that they are trying to solve.
Data Science is an area of business that has been rapidly growing and the need for these types of insights are going to continue to grow. The one issue companys face with Data Science is, well, Data Scientists cost a lot of freaking money, but, the insights they can provide and solutions they can help solve provide a lot of value for the business.
Personally, I feel this is a great opportunity, but I'd like feedback on the general idea. I haven't hammered out the fine details yet, but some of services will be in the areas of: machine learning, predictive analytics, sentient analysis, customer/product insights.
TLDR: input requested on a DSaaS company that's targeted towards providing solutions for marketing departments.
