Hello, I'm a PhD candiate and have recently submitted my thesis. The startup in question has acquired a government research grant that allows them to hire a recent PhD graduate for their research needs for 6 months.
I asked them about future roles and opportunities and their answer was if things go well and we get approvals on our product and my performance is good, there are chances of permanent roles.
The founder and board of advisors are all well known people and ex ceo's of good companies as well. This will be my first ever job and was wondering if it's a risk worth taking ?
Looking at it from a career perspective rather than finanical one.
