Is it normal/acceptable to share cap tables and financials with investors?

I invested in a startup awhile back. Not sure if I can/should ask for a copy of the cap table. Makes sense to ask, but you never know. Just want to get some ideas of how successful they were at pitching their idea to other investors, etc...

Also wondering about asking for historical financial statements.
