Our experience with Gusto for those asking about what payroll system to use

We just started a business and signed up with Gusto. It was ok for a couple of weeks and then things went sideways. They did not process an employee's last paycheck, three reps insisted that they had done so, gave us a ACH trace number for the payment, and created support tickets. After several frustrating back-and-forths between them, the employee, and the employee's bank, they ultimately said that they had not processed the paycheck (even though Payroll History shows that they had) and are now blaming it on user error. And, to top it all, they will not let me speak to a manager. I would not recommend using their service.
