We are a new, small, General Contractor construction company. I am having trouble with finding a reputable source to generate an editable contract. Some jobs we do off a bid, some jobs we do hourly. We do some larger and some smaller, so we could need 4+/- contracts a month. I have gone to a few different contract-generating websites but I feel they are misleading. Many state they are free then require you to purchase your contract at the end. I don't mind purchasing a contract template/form, but I don't want to try to purchase one that is not reputable/leads people on.
I would like a contract with all the legal verbiage to protect our business as well as state expected payment terms and a place to describe the job itself. I have tried to piece together a contract from different examples online but it doesn't quite flow. It's possible I am not using the correct google search terms, so now I ask Reddit, do you have a website you use(d) to repeatedly generate contracts that can be customizable? Is there some "main website that everyone uses"? Bonus if there is a form for General Contractors/Construction.
