Is it still worth to start a candle business?

Hi all, i’m new to Reddit so I hope my post is okay within this group.

I have been thinking a lot about starting something for myself and after long hours of brainstorming I decided that I wanted to start a candle business. These candles are not homemade though but I already got a rough idea on how these candles can be differentiated from other candles.

However, I tend to be an overthinker and after doing some research online I got a little discouraged since there are so many candle companies out there plus you can buy them at the nearest supermarket.

Therefore, I was wondering whether you think it’s still worth to start a candle business or not. Also if you happen to be/been in a similar situation please share!
