How do you feel when you have new ideas that just don't work?

So I am a software engi, and I've been working for the past 6 years. I am really bored of it becuase It's new problems every single day and people want things done fast, leaving the problem solving to me, and it's just really tiring now. Anywho, I've had 2 ideas for extra income to hopefully make me enough to stop working for people. None have worked, I've wasted cash and have gotten literally $0 out of it. It's really dissapointing, I don't get it, I know something may work out but after how long? I've invested a lot on those ideas and I basicly can't do anything else right now, gotta save up again. Has anyone ever been in this situation, where things don't go your way? Any motivation? I'm desperate and depressed right now
