Help me handle this. I have a partner who is great. A solid teacher, technical and works his ass off and overall amazing in the company. Business / sales or overall understanding of how business works are non-existant to early toddler...none.
Consulting oil and gas firm, doing amazing. No assets, just people and a great name and the growth potential is huge.
When he joined and we did the company freeze for a valuation - I knew what I was getting into. Lately, it's exhausting. He's eastern European and the attention to money and what 'he's' getting is insane as the company grows. It's all money and a lack of understanding how growth or money works...like if you hire more people, they bill more, we can make more . He's worried 'he' loses - rather than company wins.
He's worried the /growth are 'taking' rather than looking at it as an investment. It's an age / culture thing.
I can't stand it anymore and it's making me give up. I don't want to win anymore and I'd rather lose than have him win. Screw it all.
Does that make sense? I'm venting.
