I’m in a weird and awesome situation. My company has decided to start a physical office in the US and I get to decide where it is. We have operations across the US and only the execs would be in person for now. We’re all flexible about where we live.
The main criteria is 1) near a major airport 2) good access to talent for future hires and 3) a good lifestyle. Personally I want to be on the coast so indexing for that. I’m from the UK so looking for local perspectives.
So…where would you do it?
ETA we’re an investment firm so investing foreign capital in businesses all over the US. Would be good to have access to lenders, etc but everything can be a plane ride away. Mostly looking for an attractive and relatively central place to set up HQ that our execs would be happy living in for a semi-long time
