Please share with me your best strategies to search and land some investors

My partners and I are trying to get some investors to raise some money for the upcoming year and I honestly don’t know where should I start from. My network is not that big as of today so direct contact is not really an option.

My thoughts so far are: trying with LinkedIn prospecting, directly looking for investor, business angel kinda profile and hitting them up -preferably if we have somebody in common that could introduce us

Paying for some space in newsletters that star growing startups and stating that we’re open to invest

What are your thoughts? Is there something else I could do?
