Some dumb questions about starting out

Hope you're all doing well. I'm currently about to start an audio production company for musicians and was just wondering if some of you would be able to offer any insight on any of the questions I've got.

1) I've heard very bad things about buying a domain on godaddy. Since my budget is very limited, I was thinking of buying the name I came up with on namecheap and building a free website on wordpress, and upgrading to squarespace when I can afford it. By any chance, is there another free(or cheap) website builder that's reliable that also hosts music (having playable examples hosted on the website itself is kind of the important part because that will literally be my portfolio)?

2) What are some things you as a potential customer don't like when visiting a service based website that provides something you're looking for? I'm planning on having the first few versions of the website look very simple, but I was considering having a few stock photos as my studio looks quite shit. I'm confident in my work quality though. Would that be considered tacky?

3) How do some people become friends with their clients? I've had 3* so far and it's been fairly work related and that's it, but it's honestly mind boggling to me seeing examples of some people who are super tight with their clients. I know building relationships like that takes time, but how would I go about initiating something without coming off as unprofessional? I do need friends as well lol

4) As I'm looking for most of my clientele online (I know in most music producer's cases hanging around music scenes is the best way to go but the music scene/s in the country I live in is pretty much non existent), how could I go about networking more? Or even getting to better paying clients. I have considered just cold DMs/ emails, but that will also be super spammy, no? I have come across some people saying to just keep building value and your skillset to the point where other people start approaching you, but consider my work is literally helping other people's music, I'm confused on how to approach this.

) I do plan on having a total of *at least 5 before launching the website to have a decent amount of testimonials. Would that be acceptable, or would you recommend having more or less and just getting started asap? I have two testimonials from previous clients whose work I won't be using in my portfolio though- would it still be acceptable to have their testimonials up? The reviews are very nice lol, but it's just that the quality of music is awful (poorly recorded, bad songwriting, etc). I was thinking I could just write what they said without crediting them, but the skeptical part of my brain was wondering if people would think I just made it up.
