From full time to part time?

Hi Folks. I'm six months in to my start up, no revenue yet but I've got two important meetings coming up that could be something.
Anyway, currently i'm in full time work 40 hours per week and I cannot work nearly as hard as I want to on the business.
I'm thinking about switching to part time as I can still afford bills & rent but everything else will have to come from savings or potential business revenue.
Any advice? Has anyone done something similar?
