I am launching an affiliate program to grow my startups SAAS subscribers.

Has anyone launched an affiliate program for your product, if yes what did you do to launch the program marketing wise? It dose not matter if the affiliate program was a success, or failure, anything anyone can share would be greatly appreciated!
