Prospective CPA is asking for bank and credit card statements + last years tax retur

I’m searching for an accounting firm / CPA to handle my books/accounting, payroll, and tax planning.

They said they’ll give me a price quote only after submitting the aforementioned documents. This seems a little iffy but I’m not sure if standard practice.

Should I be involving a NDA at all?
