Entrepreneurs that were acquired: how did it affect your happiness?

I’m in talks to be acquired. It would be really helpful to hear how happiness levels of other founders were affected post-acquisition.

The acquisition will net me ~2-3m after taxes fwiw. I don’t plan to retire. I’d probably start another business.
