Accepting payments prior to registering a company

Hi everyone,

Im curious to know how would one go about accepting payments after developing a MVP without registering as a company and getting a company’s credit card. Does he just accept payments to his personal account? And doesn’t it make him way more prone to getting sued if something goes wrong? Is it even a smart decision not to register a company while you want to receive payments?
