I'm a recent computer science graduate and already had a job offer, where I've been working since July, 2021.
I have some ideas for a website/mobile app that I would like to put out there. Since I'll be doing everything else on my own, balancing my job, I'm hiring my cousin who's younger than me, and also a web developer enthusiast to be my tech lead. It'll just be the 2 of us.
I'm also the only one putting in the initial money (for domain name, service providers, publishing cost etc.) since it won't be too much at the beginning. I don't want anyone else to loose their money incase it goes downhill (my cousin is helping me out, I'm not paying him). I'll take care of the legal things as well. I'll ask for investors etc. as we begin to grow.
The way I'm thinking about this is : since the initial costing isn't a lot, and considering everything I mentioned above, I think there's no harm in atleast giving it a shot. What's the worst that could happen...it goes on both of our resumes. I guess my question is : is my mindset/planning going into this correct? I'm so new to this and I'm really nervous. If anyone has any guidance, please let me know!
