Minnesota Vikings offending coordinator Wes Phillips was detained and charged for driving while intoxicated on Friday Night, according to Hennepin County prison records. ESPN's Kevin Seifert was the first ot break the was pulled over and ultimately jailed just outside of Minneapolis at 11PM CST, prior to being launched at 1:26 AM CST after uploading a $300 bond. His very first court appearance is set up on December 21st. The Minnesota Vikings released a declaration on the issue stating quote:"Wes immediately notified the team following his arrest last evening Zavier Scott Jersey, " the Viking claimed in a statement. "Today we contacted the NFL, and after interior conversation, made the choice Wes will certainly take a trip with the group to Las Vegas this mid-day. We will remain to gather details relating to the occurrence and have additional remark at the proper time."Wes Phillips remains in his 2nd period as the Vikings offending coordinator, and is an essential number within the Vikings coaching staff. He helps design plays alongside Kevin O'Connell, and his mentoring experience is important for O'Connell that is just one of the youngest head trainers in the league. Wes has been a trainer in the NFL for seventeen years Mohamed Ibrahim Jersey, and is the son of Wade Phillips and the grandson of Bum Phillips.
