yesterday a new ad exchange launched that uses the Ethereum blockchain for their ad auctions called EthereumAds. They were featured by the biggest crypto news sites like Coinmarketcap and Cointelegraph.
Their business model is based on ease of use for publishers since the publishers only need to insert a HTML snippet or WordPress Widget including their Ethereum address. At EthereumAds' marketplace are already around 200 small to medium sized publishers listed.
Since they only focus on attracting publishers there are basically no advertisers there atm and you can buy ad space for the starting bid of 0.01ETH = $5 for a duration of 14 days there.
The top publisher has 10k impressions / day at the moment. So this means 140k impressions for $5. Which is 0.04 CPM assuming noone else bids within a 24h timeframe.
The exchange takes 10% commission.
You need the browser extention MetaMask and the cryptocurrency Ether to interact with the Ethereum blockchain.
