Hire tax pro? Ran a loss in year 1

Hey folks,

My first year was heavy on investment with product design, inventory orders, and launch marketing. I certainly spent more than I brought in.

So, there’s no profit to report but does it still make sense to find professional help for taxes? If I use QuickBooks can I create my own schedule c?
