Education project, should i buy .com or .education domain

Hi, i am starting a new project and would like to buy the domain name, the project itself is in the education field and i aim to make it global, so i was wondering if i should buy the regular domain .com or go for .education, will the .education provide some advantages compared to the .com or they are both similar ? What do you think ?
